My name is Cynthia Karin Cortes and I am a photographer born and raised in NYC... As a young child I have been always interested in the arts, dance, painting and drawing. I studied dance for several years and continue to do so but what drove me with fire and I somehow found myself leaning towards was the photographic world - Alas, I thought I would end up being a painter beyond anything else!

As a result, I am a multi-faceted photographic artist with a sexy, unique slant on the world and its beautiful occupants. Traversing the globe or roaming the streets of the east village, my home, I have demonstrated talent to recognize and capture those moments justifiably worthy to memorialize on film. I am driven and have the intuitive ability to forever seize the true essence of the moment... Life

My self portraits - another plateau for my own expression! I have shared the ability to become vulnerable or exquisitely seductive on film as a form of art - I harness well. The passion for the art of photography that I have is real. The ability to capture the spirit of life, lust, happiness and plain beauty in a provocative style is proven by my very own images and work. It will forever be Art for me!
